I imagine he'll play in the Mads role, on the left hand side of a midfield three in possession, and left wing in a 4-4-2 off the ball.

This is good news but hopefully he can form a partnership with Frokjaer in the way thar Millar did - Frokjaer thrives when he has the support of players as skillful and quick-thinking as him.

Haha well that typo was nice while it lasted.

Welcome, Alfie. Very pleased with this.

Just noticed on the Spurs website that they’ve announced the loan and that they’ve given him a new contract in the same article. No mention of the option to buy clause though.

It’s mentioned on our website in the announcement article that there is an option to buy, but it’s a “significant seven figure sum” according to the LEP.

Though they did initially report it as a six figure sum by accident.

Edit: sorry, “sizable” sum.

Superb irony of them saying League 1 was his level so they wouldn’t have had him back

Only for them to then basically play the role of a League 1 team in the Championship for most of last season

Happy with that. Still really need a winger to give us some flexibility and obviously the striker.

Hopefully they spend the whole season trying to sell the club so we don’t have to endure another summer of this regime and possibly then sign him permanently.
