He might not be a world beater but he is instrumental in how we play. Possibly the most important cog in our midfield.
Well done to all involved on getting this done without all the drama of leaving him hanging on for a contract.

Best way to judge a player is when he doesn’t play. We look weaker without him particularly with the new attacking threat in midfield who need him to give them the licence to go forward.
Great deal would love to know what he has been offered to fend off the rumoured interest.

Nobody more deserving. Hitting his best notes this season.
Surgical in the tackle, too.

Good on you Ali. A grafter and I would say he's Preston through and through.

Great age through the core of the team at the minute with the bulk in the 24-28 bracket, Iversen, Gibson, Storey, McCann, Whiteman and Ozzy.
As previously discussed, loan players are of great experience this season, all having played in the champ previously.
League one experienced signings both with sell on potential instead of our usual 27-28 yo signings that have never played above league one or league 2.
Let’s hope we can keep this positive feeling bubbling over a tough period of fixtures.

Very good business for the club this and also for the player, I’m a huge fan of Ali, he is exceptional at what he does in midfield, probably one of the best in the division? He brakes up play so well, positioning is very good and you can’t complain about his commitment to the club. Yeh pleased with this announcement, now 3pts Saturday and all is good 👍🏻

Well Saturday is theoretically his type of game. He was brilliant in both N.Ireland internationals during the break.
Very pleased he's committed to the club!

Cheers, Shakespeare. Now any chance someone who can read might answer the question about the release clause?
