I got carried away last night after the Devine signing and the takeover hopefully being on the vinegar strokes and thought I could treat myself to this shirt.

I get that these things can be adverts for the clubs but really I don't mind us saving money on this and spending it elsewhere to be honest

Well both certainly reflect the product on offer.
Also for season ticket holders their shirts are only £45 (£48 for the long-sleeved version) for adults, and £35 for kids.
Billionaire owners running the marketing budget from the same pot as the playing staff budget is the kind of tinpot attitude that needs wiping away ASAP.

I don't even necessarily mean the playing staff budget to be fair. There's all the other stuff like appointing a good Director of Football and properly investing in the academy, etc. that I think is more important to focus on first. Improving the quality of the signing announcements just isn't as important as a lot of other stuff to me
