It's a manual process in the background as the notifications from paypal go to the admin/owner I think or sometimes it glitches. Have tweaked it as I trust you. thousands wouldn't

PayPal glitch. I had already beaten you to it and manually upgraded.

Hi, - Can you tell me what's the difference between being a " Forum Patron " & an
"Advisor to the Owner" ?
I'm asking b ecause it used to have the 1st one under my Name & now it's the 2nd one.
And can you find out when I'm due to renew my patronage, please?

And finally, ( thanks ! ) advise me on the different levels of patronage & their differing
benefits.

When your Patron status lapses it goes to a different set of "Names" that are given to users base don their number of posts, of which "Advisor to the Owner" is one

Talking of benefits, is there a way of deleting DMs, Ive built up quite a lot since the forum upgrade and cant find a way of tidying it up

That's an interesting one, I'm sick of all the nude photos that I get sent from everyone so it'll be good to have a clear out.

I think you just leave the conversation then if/when all participants leave the wizardry under the covers can then delete them

The little bloke that sits inside the database and decides whether he can delete the conversation wants a word

I wonder if now is the time to remind non patrons, especially prolific ones, that they can contribute to the forum’s running costs? There was a pop up last week but the forum will presumably be very busy next week.
