Matchday Thread Birmingham City v PNE | 13.10.26 | KO:8PM | Championship

[Victorthesecond]

Semi -serious comment - our reserves win 2-1 today , I'd be having a good look and get some hungry guys moved up. Couldn't be much worse.

[SF]

Devine was good for 25 minutes then crumbled like the rest of the cowards

[Damp Squib]

I’d genuinely take Alexander and Lucketti in the line up on Saturday if it means two of these cunts are on the bench.

[Pie Hunter]

Can only hope this is the low point.

But it might get worse this Saturday before it gets better.

🤬

[alexpne18]

Grezza with the career suicide.

Can't get any worse really and none of its his fault.

Stoke 1-2 Middlesbrough*

[Bodney Rewes]

Wrong manager appointed
Players and those above have to take big responsibility but appointing a manager who has no managerial experience at this level will also cost us.

You could hire Pep or Klopp or Ancelotti and they wouldn't get a tune out of this team. They're completely lacking in character or ability

I like the look of that young lad Potts coming through

[Hoz ']

I think at this rate Lindsay will be fancying his chances!

[BallyPNE]

Grezza with the career suicide.

Choosing to come here is his fault.

I give him zero sympathy. Could see it was a stinker of a decision from a MILE off

[Brianbarrymurphy]

Turned off.

You’re behind the curve. I never turned it on

*Cardiff 6-0 Watford
Millwall 0-1 Swansea*

[cragtek]

Think we need to drop Dan. Forget clean sheets, just give me one that's not blasted with shit stains.

[ConnorPR2]

Well at least we’re not having the worst nightz

How we didn’t beat Watford is beyond me

[ShanklyKop]

Heckyball mk2 with a face that fits. Honestly think if a back 3 and wingbacks where the popular set up when I started watching football i wouldn't watch football today, fucking painful. 😩

[Bobbage]

I feel awful that this wretched club has cost him a promotion.

[cragtek]

We’ll leash we are not as bad as Watford

The league says we're worse.

[Jürgen Krapp]

This has been coming since tbey failed to sack Lowe in that summer.

Negligence.

Longer

Alex Neil wasn't backed and slowly the squad that was built under Grayson, but refined by Neil was dismantled. The mental fatigue looked obvious on Neil by the end. When he was sacked Frankie comes in and plays super defensive to sure things up, we get lazy and appoint him failing to rebuild what we lost (Pearson, Fisher, Gallagher).

Once Frankie is out we hire Lowe, who has one way of playing and let him dismantle any tactical flexibility.

We fail to sack him, let him keep enshittifying the team and then let him walk away.

We don't learn this lesson with Heckingbottom.

All in the meantime the lack of money the Hemmings have put in mean we sign crocks or aggressively mediocre players because they're cheap. We also extend the players already here.

That's before we get into the piss poor infrastructure decisions that are biting us (e.g. downgrading the academy, failing to provide and Under 21's)

[oil-man]

If we're going to get anything out of this game, we're gonna need to score soon.

[Lee Cartwright]

Cochrane for Brum is some player. Been a while since we have had a full back with that kind of quality
