FAN Calling all exiled supporters.

As a none exile I would say the biggest way to engage in fans is allow them to watch all matches though doubt it will happen or even allowed with the current tv contracts.
Ironically I think some of the early exile groups came about when in the days before iFollow and modern streaming the only way to listen to commentary of games was being within distance of Radio Lancs signal or there was commentary that could be accessed if you lived outside the UK and paid a fee over internet. This ended up with people in the USA having the commentary piping out of PC speakers and then into a microphone that was then feeding a Yahoo(or similar) group chat of exiles from around the UK and abroad as a way to listen to the games. Early piracy….

The days of PNEpatti….

But as you point out, even with all the advances and regulations, there still isn’t a way to legally do this!

In the UK, say what you like about sky, but we've (legally speaking) never had it so good, if you're prepared to pay up.

Looking forward (ahem) to tomorrow nights match.

I was one of those people listening with PNE Patti. I reached out to her a few years ago. She’s still around, but she lost her interest. Who could blame her 🤣

You're stretching it here, IMHO.

"give (giving) exiled supporters a stronger voice, and create a route for sharing ideas and raising issues with the club."

Exiled means expelled, booted out of, against your will ...in this case England. They haven't been exiled, they've chosen to emigrate, fair enough, I can understand why.

However, if you live in a different country, you can't expect to have the ears of the club's owners, surely, as you don't attend and never will, unless you visit on holiday, possibly.

I know you'll all welcome my thoughts, so please don't forget to add to my considerable collection of face palms and "up yours" emojis !

A lot of Exiles put a lot of money into the Club, Via Shirts and Ifollow, Some more than Fans more closer to the club. Me I can't get to games for logistical reasons Everytime I plan to go to Preston Sky Pop up. It's not easy planning around Carer etc. I have to plan months in advance. So I get it I don't put much money in, I just Buy a Shirt and do my Matchday stuff. Still trying to play a part. Gives me something to keep going. Last time I actually attended a Home game, I had to get 2 full priced tickets because you couldn't back then (Maybe you can now) just turn up with your PIP Letter, Disability ID etc and get a ticket, you had to register, and do some other stuff, Not possible when you don't live near the ground. Things may have changed, but it easier to get a Ticket for Southend, Ipswich, Norwich, Colchester, Millwall than PNE, The later Four Watching PNE.

However someone in France or Australia, etc they can Buy Game Passes to watch the game, Season Pass or by the game. They buy shirts. So why shouldn't they have a say in the club for Example Online stuff, or About making it so Exiles can get to games. Build up to the game.

What about Fans from Say Carlisle, Rotherham, Torquay, Norfolk, they buy Media Passes, money into the club. I don't because Bloody pointless me listening and hearing about the goal 20 seconds after Ihave posted about it.

I don't care where People are from, if the club or fan group wants help they should be allowed to give it. Its not a Stronger Voice, Its a voice. I think its good the club are encouraging exiles fans to get involved. If they feel involved they might sign up for some of these services and put money in.

So you love PNE as much as the lads who go home and away every week? Great, that's good.

What did you move to Spain for then. They don't play there.

They don't? Not much of a fan are you if you didn't realise we do play 1 game a Season (ok a Friendly) in the one Country you mentioned. Thats a Facepalm moment.

No need to explain yourself, being a Notth Ender is for life, no matter where in the world you are located, or how painful they become.

What a self important idiot you are. I live in Thailand and still support PNE as fervently as I always have, it’s in my blood. I had a season ticket from 1959 to 2019 even though the last 3years tickets went mostly unused as I was spending more and more time out of the UK. My daughter still goes to games with her season ticket, she’s had one since Andy Saville days. Do not try and tell me you’re a better supporter than me.
Anything that helps with communication from the club is a plus from me

Only an hour from where I live so I’ve been to every one of those.
