Thoroughly proffesional performance all round, 2 great goals, could have had a third and managed the 2nd half superbly. Surely no one can have a pop at the tactics today.

Our best performance since the start of season run. We were reminiscent of that period in the way we controlled the game with good quality possession.
We looked confident again today - like we may be on a run. Middlesbrough and Rovers will be the proof of that of course, but they’re both beatable.

I think I’d put it above the start of season run too where I felt we rode our luck at times. That was as professional and well managed as you’ll see with some brilliant attacking flair thrown in and a squad that looked balanced (until it was crippled)

As comfortable away win we have had all season.

Two really well worked goals & played with plenty of confidence once Riis scored.

Mention to Mads who just has something doesn't he?

It was obvious to most from the start he offers something vital i( i e. vision) the other midfield permutations lack in spades since DJ left. Just a shame it takes badgeman half a season to fall upon it as a consequence of other non footballing factors

Only change now i would make to the starting 11 is Whatmough in for Storey, but the midfield past couple games has been exceptional, Browne, Mads and Whiteman.

The message has got through to him alright. I doubt very much he reads the forum, but we do make some very valid, relevant, and reasonable comments which have been 'brought to his attention'.

Back from the match. 3 points clean sheet. You can only beat whats in front of you and Cardiff were very poor. Two good goals and could have had a couple more. Overall we won comfortably and did not revert to dropping too deep after halftime. A good allround professional performance. Mads is an absolute joy to watch deservedly MOM.

Controlled the game once Riis bagged the first. Good professional performance. Only downside the injuries to Potts and Browne.

First 25+ mins was pretty dour. Cardiff were passing it without creating too much. Whilst we largely failed to put 2 or 3 passes together.

First goal sprung us into life. Riis looked back to his best. Great goal for him. Our passing greatly improved and lovely interplay for the 2nd goal. Mads really shone for good spells of the game.

Second half wasn't much for a neutral to get excited about. But we were gritty, looked the better side and saw out the game well. Deserved three points.
