Ched

Ched

Just his presence on the pitch made a big difference to the teams attitude yesterday. I wont discount him as a late impact sub for the rest of this season.

As others have said we should then let him go, with our blessing. I'd love to see him at somewhere like Accy where he could be a massive influence both on and off the pitch.

Hasn't been a goal threat for a long time. But certainly shows that there is definitely a place in the squad for a solid back to goal style striker who can allow us to play long more effectively.

Although he got injured after going to Millwall, wonder if we might have another sniff at Josh Coburn in the summer? And of course Leaburn has been mentioned a few times on here. I'm sure there are options elsewhere in the world though!

It seems to me Osmajic has improved recently, with his back to goal and using his strength to shield the ball - I wonder if that is anything to do with Ched’s influence in training.

If it is, presumably Riis hasn’t been listening. He looked as poor as ever when receiving the ball last night.

Got a lot of time for Ched and a younger version of what he offers is much needed. I’d rather he was involved doing what he did last night than give Riis much more minutes.

Can go and do a job in L1 or L2 next season though as it’s obvious Hecky doesn’t want him to stay as a coach

I wonder it was “ Shop Window “ time for Ched last night ??

Live on national telly with a chance for League 1 and 2 clubs to see what he has to offer….

If Ched wants to play again more regularly, it is worth seeing if anyone wants him. Think his experience and nous could really help a side on and off the pitch in League 1 or 2.

Somewhere he can finish his playing career on a high.

I think he could definitely do a Job at Wigan, Accy or back to Fleetwood…

Potentially for the club. Don’t think we saw anything from him more than what he has always given

My recommendation would be, get Riis training one to one with Ched, Jeez how can a man 3inch shorter and nearly two stone heavier have more of a physical presence?? The only thing Riis with absolute relish, is lean back and blaze it over the bar!!!!!

Fleetwood must be sick to death of this thread, it's the one place we always seem to suggest that our ageing, crap players should go. It's a bit like Belgium only ever being mentioned whenever someone explains how much rainforest gets destroyed

Ched could still do a job in L1 and could be used in a transfer deal if we found some suitable in L1

If Cheds ambitions are in management maybe a player/manager job at league two or conference level could be his next step.

If he wants to get as much game time in after missing big chunks of his career he should probably jump at a chance now, some things can wait but actual playing time will be in short supply.
