It’s up to the manager and team to excite the fans and lose the is this a library jibe, if you play sterile football nobody will sing, excitement generates enthusiasm from the fans who will become part of the adventure. You can choose whatever song you want but you can’t force fans to sing if there is no excitement or belief that we are on the up. My lad was a mascot in the Moyes era at kick off we had to walk past the town end to get to our seats at pitch level the noise was deafening people believed in the adventure

The anthem should build up the atmosphere and the football being played should build on that….we’ve had neither for years unfortunately. It’s up to the manager and team to excite the fans and lose the is this a library jibe, if you play sterile football nobody will sing, excitement generates enthusiasm from the fans who will become part of the adventure. hallelujah - simple words and music - sums up new era of PNEThe one song that is most appropriate for our situation at the moment is.................."Things Can Only Get Better"!!
There is a potential issue there. Last time that got used in an anthemic way, things really did not get better. The one song that is most appropriate for our situation at the moment is.................."Things Can Only Get Better"!!

One of the best atmosphere builders in football is Everton and Z cars. No words, no singing just a rousing tune. Hearing it in the flesh is fantastic.

Yeah but this is not politics, it's all about the context.
It's upbeat and the words are quite appropriate. Perhaps a bit of modification here and there. Someone with a better imagination than me could perhaps make it even more in keeping with PNE?
I like the lyrics …google it...
Home ,,, Rianne Downey
This little town we call home
A little place of our own
Oh, if only you could see
What this place has done to me
It's built me up and broke me down
Picked me up, turned me around
But no matter where I'll be
It is always home to me
I’m gonna go and check the tune.
Could change last line of chorus to “it’s always PNE”I like the lyrics …
I’m gonna go and check the tune.

Not a song/anthem, possible walkout music, starts slow, sets the scene, builds into a frenzy ?

I actually like it, probably because it reminds me of Private Psychedelic Reel by the Chemical Brothers. I don't think the slow start would be an issue if you started it at the 1:55 mark, let it build for a couple of minutes and then players walk out.
It's probably not one for masses, but then again was Dance of the Knights in the 2000s?
Infinitely better than some of the other suggestions imo.
Just seen on the Takeover thread that Zedan grew up in Medina. Only one song it can be then...

This is a very good song. I tend to listen the acoustic version more than this one, but I can see the build. This version at least has the potential to be mixed with a more dance/bass beat to actually work with our speakers at Deepdale.
