I agree Joan but this is what should also have happened with wibg being automaticaly appointed when Atky stood down, instead of this interim election...I really hope JD stands in the next election and he is guaranteed my vote if he does as are you if you decide to stand again as well.

If they have one alt I can understand that they would want to seperate themselves from posting under a mod status but not beyond that. As for abusing alts I have absolutely no sympathy for any other alt getting exactly what they deserve - being made to look quite silly😱

quite willing to Motiv, just check members list "chipbutty" and youll see when it was last used. Some people bear grudges, some dont. I guess.

I used chipbutty to wind up WIBG last year Joan. something that both WIBG and myself have laid to rest. Seems Motiv still has an agenda though.😉

I know absolutely nothing about that, nor do want to. I was speaking in general terms. I personally dislike being wound up its very juvenille.

So you don't think Raefil, who created an alt, which tried to wind up people, then started stalking a poster, and posting real life info, is wrong?

So, I answered your question about bringing integrity back to the mod team, I'm sure you will agree it was out of order and should at least of led to an infraction?

Let's just see how WIBG goes should we?...He could end up being voted mod of the year. He's won...as I said previously, I have no problem with him as a person...just alter egos and wind ups...at times when they cause more trouble than fun. Yes they can be fun, at certain times and on certain occasions. We all do like a bit of a laugh on here, but not at anyone else's expense.

No excuses? It's not Jimbo's job to sort it out, it's mine, I have a life and will do it when I have time.

There's some ungrateful shits on this forum, and this isn't just directed at you WIBG. People I know in "real life", who would never act like this at the pub or anywhere else, treat this place with such contempt. The amount of time the admins and mods give up to keep this place running and provide a platform for your crap, I don't know why we bother sometimes.

So Motiv whilst I agree with the giste of what you are saying, how can you say you want WIBG to keep his winding up persona if you don't like principle of it😕

I know nothing whatsoever about what has gone on in the past between you all, nor do I want to but, suffice to say this is a damned good reason not to have an alter or wind folk up.

I'm not the one who's been posting personal details of posters on here, to get back at them. Very low raefil, very low. Still, that's not the purpose of showing people what you are like, as the previous thread about it all did it nicely.

The point was that Joan said no mods would have alts, I pointed out that not only do some of them have/had one, they used it maliciously with impunity.

I'm quite happy for WIBG to be who he is. He brings a little bit of life to a forum, far better than bringing nothing to a forum.

Forums are about different personalities, he's just another one. Of course, it's hard to ignore those in green, as you are not allowed to put them on ignore.
