I feel it's a case of his hands being tied yet getting the brunt of the blame for lack of investment...So basically, Craig just can't be bothered anymore.

I don't really mind that with them actively trying to sell the clubReads a bit like a sales pitch
It’s absolutely a sales pitch. I count 3 times at least they mention the highest ever income for the clubReads a bit like a sales pitch
This blows my mind a bit, only now after years of saying the club is for sale have they decided to go out and actively seek investment? As a consequence of this review, we have concluded that for PNE to continue to be successful in the Championship and have the best opportunity to strive for Premier League status, we – the owners – need to reach out and engage with international sports organisations, private institutions or investment funds better geared, both commercially and financially, for maximising the true global potential of PNE. We will therefore be actively engaging with such potential organisations or individuals who would be interested in investing in or owning a club like PNE.
What’s striking is that this is the first time we’ve seen any suggestion that they realise they don’t really know what they are doing.
Quite a significant step in my opinion. Rather than the old “its difficult but we’re well run and are doing the best we can” there’s an acknowledgement that something needs to change going forward and there might be a better way.
Whispers of a takeover on the back of increased international exposure due to our sponsor.
American businessman and owner of an NHL club spotted in the stands which when mentioned to PR on air, gets him all flustered.
And now out of the blue, Craig steps aside for a non-executive director to take the reins....
Perhaps with it then being 5 seasons down the line from TH's death, they'll be able to start relaxing their "right people" requirements.Already concerned with what happens two years down the line if we haven't been taken over by then.
Since he'll be non-exec, I think the opposite - I think Peter's power will only increase. To me it suggests that there will be someone more involved in the running of the club than Craig has time to do which may also somewhat reduce Ridsdales power base.
The we will re-evaluate at the end of the next 2 years, sounds like the continuous Trust funding will becoming to an end.🙄Already concerned with what happens two years down the line if we haven't been taken over by then.

Reads quite the opposite to me. The fact he's a non-exec chairman suggests he'll be very hands off and let Peter get on with it.To me it suggests that there will be someone more involved in the running of the club than Craig has time to do which may also somewhat reduce Ridsdales power base.
Utter bollocksHe knows there is going to be pressure to spend in January because there is a chance of promotion, and rather than have one last push for his father's legacy hes ran away from responsibility. His choice, but dissapointing for us.
Yeah, that has to be a possible reading of this bit:The we will re-evaluate at the end of the next 2 years, sounds like the continuous Trust funding will becoming to an end.🙄
