I agree. Unfortunately, PNE's performances have been like this for a long time. Once in the lead our midfield virtually disappears as everyone drops back thereby letting the opposition have control in the hope of stifling attacks in and around our penalty area. This ends with eight or nine defenders all getting in each other's way, swarming like kids in the schoolyard. I didn't see anything different yesterday v QPR so maybe our coaching isn't up to much. Strengthening midfield when we take the lead is an absolute must rather than the opposite. If we didn’t have Iversen in goal today we would have lost. He distribution was below average and his kicking likewise. But he made crucial stops. The defence was culpable for defending too deep in last quarter of game and not being 2nd to too many loose balls, and not shadowing runners.

Hes got credit in the bank for me. However by his standards he has been below par.
Having such a leaky defence infront of him doesn't help.

Don’t know if it’s similar at other champ clubs but it’s the only position here that never seems to have any competition/ can’t be or won’t be dropped regardless of form
Said in the summer he needed some serious competition
Think he could do with a couple of games on the bench and a chance to reset

Is a puzzle to me how they managed to get pinned back by 10 men.I agree. Unfortunately, PNE's performances have been like this for a long time. Time and again sitting back has not worked for us. 23 games without a clean sheet highlights that.
What a fucking silly thread this is. Literally got us a point yesterday. Even the best in the world would struggle with the shite of Lindsay, Storey, Gibson, Hughes and Offiah in front of them.
We've got bigger worries than Daniel Iversen. A lot bigger!
How's it a silly thread when it's a valid discussion? It isn't just about yesterday but his form in general and some comments are perfectly valid.
Interesting you think Offiah is shite....

For anyone who asked why Leicester never used to play him, this is why. Makes Woodman look like Neuer. Will actually get more exposed under Grezza who doesn’t want us to just pass from the keeper to the defence so he’s going to have to go long.
If you want to know why we concede so late every game, look no further than the keeper. Continually puts us back under pressure by giving it back to the opposition. Throw Nicholls in for a few games, can’t be worse

True but kicking it to an area where we at least have someone in the vicinity would be a start. What can you tell him? Stop being bad at something? He’s always been crap at it
I suspect Grezza will quickly turn to Nicholls as he is a decent footballer.
He'll be fine when Potts gets back in as RWB!

Was one in the first half where Iversen just seemed to stop concentrating and nearly got caught on the ball and ended up panic launching it all the way through to Marschall. Grezza just stared at him for about 20 seconds. One point today when he kicked it straight in to touch- GA said “what the fuck was that “
His pre match interview was bad, 'yeah were quite positive'. What a donkey, two left feet, get the reserve keeper in goal.
