Daniel Iversen's form

Daniel Iversen's form

I must have been watching another 'keeper today.
I've defended Iversen this season but as I've just posted on the matchday thread, I thought his kicking( even allowing for the conditions) today was absolute dogwank and gave his critics more ammunition to shoot him with.
🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️

Absolute dog wank 🙄

I think you were definitely watching another game

Nothing wrong with his distribution today for me apart from maybe one long ball to Kenny which was slightly over hit

Generally put the ball into decent areas

Two big saves as well and was unlucky to concede.

I thought his kicking was less poor today all be it from a low base.

2 exceptional point blank saves today one unfortunately leading to the goal, but his distribution was atrocious as per.

I've never, ever said he's not a good shot stopper. Quite the opposite in fact and I've also been one of his most staunch supporters but sorry, his kicking was awful today.

That’s your opinion👍🏻

First and foremost he’s a keeper and it’s what he does in the nets that matters most.

Good Distribution is very much a bonus for me and I’ll admit in some recent games it’s been shocking but today I thought it wasn’t too bad.

Its obvious hes playing to instructions re his distribution. For me I saw a distinct improvement to what weve been seeing of late.

Still driving me mad with his aimless punts, but less of them at least but not saying much after last few games. Made some decent saves.

Thought he deserved dropping today but fair play to GA, shown faith in him when others wouldn't have, hope he repays that starting today.

Thought Iversen's distribution seemed to improve in the second half. Almost as though he found his range and he was pinging them nicely to Mills who I thought was excellent on that right side. Didn't know he was so strong in the air.

First half though was frustrating at times and although he was clearly following instructions to go long, I would have hoped he'd have been able to find the channels better so it wasn't coming straight back. Much improved on the whole though and hopefully it continues (for both him and the team).

Cant believe the stick Iversen gets. I think it's absolutely laughable.

He is by far are best player in the squad by a country mile. Yes, his distribution has had a lot to answer for but we knew that's wasn't his strength to begin with.

Yet again he's made 2-3 world class saves and I'm counting the one that led to the goal. Had no right to even get a hand to it in the first place.

He's been let down massively by the defence in front of him for some time.

People with short memories as always. I think fans forget where we would be without him.

Not at all.
I think he's been great, saved many a point for us and still first name (along with Vuc) on the team sheet. Just called it as i saw it today.

His second half kicking was just a bit shit, almost acceptable, not the complete wank he usually delivers. What does he do in training?

Did well today. The short kicks to Hughes were great, good saves on the whole, haven't seen the goal back, but couldn't have complained had Nicholls started. It's Iversen's to lose again for now, but if he faulters again it needs to be Nicholls' turn

Excellent saves today - would likely have lost the game if the earlier chances went in . Can you imagine the heads drop if we went 0-1 down
