Yes, it would be "well done Graham", if only he hadn't signed the donkeys in the first place and if only there weren't far worse players than Amoo still left in the squad and likely to be first on the teamsheet tomorrow night! 😱

Bit like signing Shumi then?
Don't forget Collins and Trotman. Neal Trotman cost more than this squad put together! 🙄

Hunt and Brown? They were only ever going to be short term signings. Amoo was a bit of a risk hence the 1 year deal but it didn't pay off. Holroyd fair enough but he was a signing like Procter etc to try and get some players in who would 'be own his side'.
Moyes and Davies also made poor loan signings.

Good luck to the lad - not great but not the worst number 7 we've had in recent years 😉
My fear with this is that it's to make room for Garner's wages.

It's not. We can't go over the 65% rule at any point. To sign garner meant we were under still so amoo is going to be replaced...
I'm not slagging him for this yet. I'm just a bit concerned at the turnover rate.
Even you can't say Sedgwick was worse than Amoo! He made Sedgwick look like a fucking world beater.
Oh so it's not just at the end of the window we have to have it under 65%? We literally can't sign someone, even if it means we're only over the limit for a few hours?

Disagree. Amoo was twice the player of the slug imho - faster and more skilful. But, hey, that aint saying much 😉

Yes exactly that. The football league know our wage bill as we register them all, they also know our turnover as we have to submit accounts. Swindon fell foul of this earlier this season and got blocked immediately.
Exactly! Yet some people think we should keep Westley because it means stability! You couldn't make it up. 😱

Where as you think we should pot him and change yet another set of coaches and players. Well done Brian.

Bloody hell! I nearly choked on my brew when I read this! Faster, I'll give you! Better player?! Not a chance! Not saying Sedgwick was brilliant, he certainly had his limitations, but he was like a brilliant beacon of success compared to Amoo! We'll never know if Amoo would have eventually come good, but rarely has a player disappointed me so much after signing! I do recall being at Northampton one week night years ago when they played at the cricket ground. They had a fast young lad saying for them called Terry Fleming, who caused us all sorts of problems, like Amoo did when he played against us for Bury. I was initially pleased when we signed them both. Both turned out to be crap! Sedgwick was a half decent player, and grossly under rated by many.
Some people have very short memories and forget the fact that prior to letting his career go tits up there was a period of time where Simon Whaley was a very good player for us. At one time he was rated as potentially more valuable than Nugent. The suggestion that Amoo & Whaley are similar players and their contribution to the PNE cause are similar must come from someone who needs to give their head a shake and is, indeed, a Joey. As for Amoo, he has been the biggest disappointment of this season for me. An athlete in a football kit. Best move for all parties
Sedgewick did know where to put himself on a football pitch, Amoo doesn't. Sedgewick was a yard too slow, Amoo isn't. Combine the two and you would have a half decent player
