Confirmed David Cornell signs two year deal.
That’s his job isn’t it, are we now going to compare every single save our keepers make!
Who decided to replace him with the inferior Walton as number 2 .Another mad decision and wage wasted yet again.Would be really surprised if this lads with us come next season he’s a defiantly a number 1 for a championship side.

All Championship squads should have three senior goalkeepers, not just two.

He's been absolutely superb and every credit to him but the only thing I'd question is his physical wellbeing he seems to go down a lot with all kinds of knocks maybe his body can't quite take it for one reason or another ? I obviously could be wrong though

He played nine games in the spell of five weeks last season. The one yesterday was the only one that was actually an injury.Looks like it doesn’t it, played more football in the last month than he has for years and it’s beginning to show

You'd never see Daniel Iverson getting injured like that.
Absolutely no need to have both reserve keepers on the bench, like we did in a couple of games earlier. That is the time I started to question the management team. That said, the real questions should be asked/demanded of our inept custodians. The sooner this lot are gone, the better. The club is a complete joke, and everyone knows/expects us to completely spiral down the table at this point of the season. All Championship squads should have three senior goalkeepers, not just two.
Rather have a lucky keeper than a good one who's a loser. He has only won 1 in 17, whether it's size, positioning or something else our season has capitulated two seasons in a row when he has been relied upon. Don't get those backing him at all.
Before those come at him and blame other we were making a push towards the play offs with Freddie last season with the same players and we were in the play offs with Iversen this season with the same players.

Can’t blame Cornell for the lack of chances created. Our heaviest defeats were with Walton in goal who (even he would admit) was poor.
Obviously Cornell is not at Iversen level but hasn’t done too much wrong in this spell.

He's done a solid job for someone who's started the season as a third choice keeper. Not sure what more you expect from someone in that role.
