He knew the finacial restaints we had before he started here, he had little restraint at Deby and look what he did with it!i think BD did a great job at this club and it is shame his ambitions far outweighed our very own boards. 3 points would still be nice tonite though!

Also ashame he took every opportunity he could to publicly slag off the club and stole all the backroom staff , putrid little specemin 😡
Setting off in a couple of hours and yes he will be getting it. The horrible little shitehawk.

Agree with this, he took us to the play offs twice, then probably realised he was never gonna succeed with us as we didnt have the edge to go a step further so decided to move on to a club with more money & ambition, he went to derby n took them up straight away.

It depends who you believe. According to the Derby Board he spent £12m on transfer fees and added £13m on the wage bill. £25m in total.
According to Billy Davies he was given nothing. And he needed £50m in the January window.
So they sacked the lying toad.

I dont remember them signing too many players, and the ones they did wernt massive stars who get paid mad money....
the problem is we expect loyalty in football, but that just isnt the case in this day and age. Contracts mean nothing, and money everything. whether BD was rite or wrong to leave, he still did a great job in charge of the team. And plus how many think AI will stick around if a biggger team comes in wanting his services?

To be honest, I'm going to clap him.
I loved it when he was our manager.

Billy Davies is responsible for one of the wisest quotes/observations about the modern game, which he said when he first became our manager.
"There is no loyalty in football anymore. There is only money"
Billys problem is that he is the living proof of his own observation. The manner of his departure epitomised this and gave a real insight into his inflated opinion and love of himself.
Like Napolean, his ego was inversely proportional to his physical size and the parrallels don't stop there.
He was, is and will remain a tw@t in my book.

Not as big a tw@t as his assistant Ned Kelly, who shares Billys arrogance, greed and contempt for the people that pay his wages, but lacks the intelligence, passion and knowledge, that makes Davies such a good manager.
He is almost certainly the most contemptable w@nker to have ever darkened Deepdale with his presence.

Just remember there is two sides to every story, not just the story you'd hear from the club.

I'm going to clap him. He did well for us. I don't understand why you would want to give him abuse, just because he left us. Let's be serious, he never supported pne so i understand him leaving for more money, most people would

And further more some posters are quite happy to go along with the mass hysteria posted on here, truthful or not it does not matter as long as they post 😕
