Davis preferred candidate and Proctor to return (LEP)

Davis preferred candidate and Proctor to return (LEP)

Because Alexander and Unsworth are not Moyes, Davies or Allardyce. The fact they went on to be good managers has no bearing whatsoever on their ability.

I'd rather take a chance on Davies than take a shot in the dark.

Alexander and Unsworth have never been anything more then coaches. They have no experience of being Assistant Managers, like Allardyce and Moyes had.

Really?
Well Billy will be a God if he comes back and finishes the job he didn't finish in the 1st place because of specky 4 eyed dickhead who puts up shelves for a living. The one who almost bankrupt the club. 😱

With Billy, it was always the chairman's fault wasn't it?

Did he leave us in a bad financial mess? No. Did he leave Derby in a bad financial mess? No. Did he leave Forest in a bad financial mess? No. Did he leave these teams in a higher position then they were when he took over? Yes.

No he didn't leave us in a financial mess. He left Derby in a financial mess though and they needed a takeover to get them out of it. At Forest he was being subsidised by the chairman to tune of £7m a season if you believe their chairman - and the lying little shit Davies was still in their local papers every month saying he hadn't been backed.

With us it certainly was. We got to a Play Off Final, allowed our most creative midfielders contract to run out and sold our top goalscorer before the following season. The following Februaryish, our best player and crowd favourite gets injured. Who do we bring in? A player who couldn't get into a League 1 side. Great backing from Degsy.

Why are they not though? huge similarities and what if, like Big Sam they do go on to be good managers while we get shafted again by Billy Davies and his crew? Davies was a shot in the dark as was Moyes so i don't see why this situation should be any different.

He had a fucking point though with Shaw didn't he?

Davies does operate with a stance of "I take the credit, you take the blame". For me, they were a double act. A double act from the past. And it should stay that way.

The situation is similar that's all, Alexander and Unsworth could easily be dogwank. It is stupid to suggest they will be good just because Moyes and Allardyce were.

I have no idea whether we are in for Davies or not, but find it amazing that there are supporters who wouldn't want him back given our current position.

I was at Derby away when we drew 1-1 and vehemently barracked the guy.

He is a complete bastard, but I want him to be our bastard again.

I thought it was Davies who brought the players in? Like I said Norky, Billy takes the credit, others take the blame.

I'm not. I'm just saying they should be give a chance thats all, like Davies and Moyes, until the end of the season at least.

If it wasn't for Davies Derby would have been 60 million worse off. I fail to see how it was his fault they were in a mess. The fact Forest's owner is paying 7 million a season suggests years of overspending, not just a couple years. Pretty similar to our owner. It's not down to one manager, it's down to numerous managers.

He wasn't given the money to bring in anyone else. Do you honestly think Billy didn't want any of the numerous Premier League players we could have had. The Board didn't sanction them.

Bollocks.

We need the best man for the job as soon as possible.

Got to agree with this assessment.

For the future of our football club. It is vitally important that this appointment is the correct one
