Unbelievably one of our coaches was giving the crowd some back after the lady was hit!

Not negligence Milkyken but certainly reckless which fits the definition of S39 common assault if the person who was struck with the bottle wishes to make a complaint.
If they don’t I can’t see how it won’t be an FA charge anyway.
 
Yep Thompson will probably be getting a 3 match ban for the incident on Saturday.

It's ended up on Ref watch on sky.

Surely Kitt Nelson gets some minutes if Devine is needed deeper.

Honestly at least Nelson will have the right attitude when he enters the pitch.

Its disgraceful that an experienced footballer behaves like that after coming off.

Looking deeper than the incident it just confirms that something is seriously wrong right through our club.

Heckys a good manager, yet its obvious hes thrown in the towel,these players proved they could match anybody in this league, now there isnt a whimper on the pitch. Theres unrest amongst the fans and the club has gone sour from top to bottom.
 
A suspension and McCann out injured would present a real problem in the middle of the park, leaving Whiteman as our only available out and out option.
Still, Peter reassured us all we were fine for central midfielders at the end of January, so I'm sure there's nothing to worry about...

This is the second season running our form has been shocking.

Good managers can motivate a team. He clearly can’t. Our worst manager in the last ten years.

His past history, really and the fact he did get this team, for a while, firing on 4 cylinders with a turbo.

The turbo went back to Everton and it seems 2 cylinders have now ceased.
 
Thompson looked as surprised as anyone that he actually passed something forwards. Hopefully he gets an 8 game ban so we don't have to see him play til next season at the earliest.
 
Thompson banned, McCann injured might force PH into playing only one defence midfielder or he may go down the @Gordon Bennett route and play Offiah in the middle which even though I don’t think he is a midfielder it something different to the usual Whiteman/McCann or Whiteman/Thompson rubbish

Iversen,
Offiah, Storey, Lindsay, Hughes, Vukcevic
Devine, Whiteman, Brady,
Dobbin, Smith.

5 minutes after his team selection, I'm at home watching Emmerdale with the wife. Give us strength.

I genuinely hope he's banned because I feel sorry for the woman who got hit. I actually thought the Norwich fans were in their rights to fucking go off on that and they showed some actual class. Something that's missing from PNE for years
 
Wow, just seen the incident.
That was worse than i thought, made a very half hearted acknowledgement with a brief hand gesture, then did the open arms 'What' gesture when confronted by some Norwich fans.
Really poor and embarrassing for the Club, whose overall disciplinary record for on and off the field behaviour is becoming shocking.
The right sort of fight and passion needs to be shown on the field against the opposition not the myriad of shameful incidents that have become commonplace over recent Seasons.
Ours was a Club well thought of once.
Now we have tax exile owners, a CEO or whatever his title is who almost went to jail, was banned and fined heavily, in charge. Employed really dubious characters in Evans and Welsh.
Not to mention Osmajjic and Murphy.
Heckinbotham himself isn't setting any examples and now this - and those are only examples off the top of the head!!
