Editing of Thread Titles

I find it quite helpful when I can see at a glance if it is a rumour or confirmed. I don't normally have much time when I'm on here - we don't all have time to read every single post.

Why is it that the person who calls everyone thick, twat, cunt, etc is the one who gets his knickers in a twist at a title being changed slightly. Grow some balls man and stop whining.

Making a mountain out of a mole hill would be a major under statement in my opinion.

I'm simply staggered that it all kicked off over something so trivial and resulted into a 50 posts+ rant! 😱

The thread title would've only needed to be changed if it was originally titled "Lee Williamson Signs". It wasn't, it was just a thread about the guy.

I can see how irritating it would be if someone was changing what you had written.

The initial postings made it look like he was about to sign and the thread title was altered to show that it was, at that stage, only a rumour. Unfortunately not everyone reads all the the postings on a thread nor does everyone understand what is actually written because of the way it is presented. This was a minor change to alleviate any ambiguity. It certainly didn't warrant the vitriolic and abusive postings that followed. If anyone had a complaint about the mods action then there is a place on this forum for them to say so without causing offense to other posters.
