I’m not going (shock).

I don’t consider £20 for a poxy League Cup game to be as cheap as is being made out.

I also don’t consider Everton to be very fashionable opposition either. We are likely to field a weakened side and lose.

That leaves paying 20 notes just to clap Moysie from the tunnel to his seat.

Think I’ll watch it on the box.

65 years since they last played at Deepdale in a competitive game. I think they’ll take it pretty seriously too.

£20 is very cheap for a game of football these days against one of the 10 biggest clubs in the country.

They wouldn't have charged that if it was an established Premier League team. Instead of a yo-yo, currently Championship team.

£20 is fine. If it was any less than £15 I'd have been shocked. Same if it was close to full price.
Probably not, but it's still great pricing. I'd have thought £15 would have been fine for this one, £5 all concessions, pack it out. Everton aren't a huge pull for younger generations as they just see them in the same sphere as Bournemouth and Brentford (mid table nothing teams).

£20 clearly isn't "fine" as hardly anyone is paying it.

£20 is about 3 Pints (and maybe a bit) these days.

This is how I have always judged and valued what I'm paying for (seriously) against something I've always had no qualms over buying.

Bought my ticket last week btw.

It is fine in that it was set at a reasonable price as it's cheap for a football match ticket, against a Premier League side that's established, and Northern. Obviously not a big pull like the big 6 teams.

My guess on it would've been either £15 or £20.

I don't think £15 would've made a huge difference to the sales compared to £20. Slightly of course, but £15 doesn't guarantee it being packed out compared to the sales at £20.

True to a point, but £20 for a parent and child is a big difference to £30.
Personally, I see £20 for me as a fair price, but with sooooo many tickets still available/ignored by STHs, I think it's fair to see the pricing isn't right for the game. Hopefully we'll shift a load over the next week, but I'd be massively surprised if we get over 10k home fans based on current sales.

Nothing wrong with the price

A lot of folk aren’t interested in going to every single game , especially with so much footy on tv

I’m not going as I do very few night games, wouldn’t matter what price it is.

Yeah I may be wrong with my recollection, but most people seemed to agree it was a fair price, but seems there hasn't actually been the turnout for it.

I wasn't expecting close to full house like some. But certainly more than it currently is showing. Maybe some people were waiting for all tickets to go available as they may have fancied a seat change for something different.

Looks like the way the game goes on Saturday may have quite an influence on the rest of the sales.

Yeah, @Doc Brown doesn't go on games which he has literally already paid for. It's not a price thing for him. £20 is more than fair.
