Will a member of the PNE Management team please, by means of this message board, explain why my wife is subjected to the indignity of having to have her handbag inspected at the turnstile by young male stewards before being allowed to enter the ground.
We are both long term season ticket holders. and this insulting practice has only started this season. Male supporters apparently are not subjected to such searches and this distasteful practice does not appear to apply to males; either young and old.
If female supporters are to be subjected to such searches. why are thet not carried out in private by female security staff? What would happen if a female season ticket holder refused to have her handbag examined by untrained male boy scout stewards?
Finally are Kathryn Revitt and other female officers, players wives etc subjected to this practice. I suggest that the jobsworth who introduced this practice is asked to explain his actions.
