Favourite Chants

Thanks for that I hadn't noticed the work of my chubby fingers... Obviously I meant song.

I was trying to get a bite from our resident Blackpool fans namely OIAH and probably a few others on this thread.

Thanks again, I've always wanted to employ a proof reader, as usually it takes me a while. You seem to be doing it on a voluntary basis, so it saves me a bit of money during the downturn.

No problem!

Hi.

You try to get a laugh out of racism then your response is that I made an error in my grammar.

Excellent.

Have you 'accidentaly' chatted up any women lately, player?

I thought it was funny when the smartarse missed out TWO apostrophes himself, when he arrogantly informed you "Its a song, and its you're not your".

Anyway, I used to love it when the west stand used to come up with the simple "We love you Preston, we do. We love you Preston, we do. We love you Preston, we do. Oh Preston we love you." It would contagiously spread around the ground. We don't hear that song enough.

Come to think of it we were already mediocre when Finney did play for us. (Not much silverware to show for it and even managed a relegation to Div 2!)

Please go & look at some record books.

Yes, we were relegated - but just look exactly how PNE came back 2 seasons later. With records wins, record goals and average gates of well over 30 thousand at Deepdale..

And then after we came back we missed out on the Silverware becasue the Dingles couldn't EVEN hold the Arsenal to a draw. That one point made us 2nd. And then a few seasons later we were runner-up yet again.
Even in the November of 1959 we went top for a time.

So, yes, not much Silverware - but steady-on with that word mediocre.

The football leage (the football league)
Is upside down (is upside down)
The football league is upside down,
We're going up with the Scunthorpe,
The football league is upside down.

To the tune of when the saints come marching in.

As far as I'm aware just about our only unique song is "Who's That Jumping off The Pier", probably our best too. Although I also like "get your fathers gun" version of Que Sara Sara. I don't like the Lashers
