This week we’ll be meeting the club again for our MOU meeting.
We’ll be following up items raised at the last meeting. (Minutes should be on the website)
We’ve all seen feedback on a variety of items since then on items such as Merchandising that we’ll raise again.
Again, if you have something that you think is relevant, please add

A few thoughts from me.

The merchandising operation is shocking. A couple of weeks ago there was still no navy and white scarves and hats on top of all the other issues I have seen raised. Ripped first team shirts, poor stock, no retro shirts, iron on badges etc. Castore seem poor and have lots of negative press. Villa and Newcastle have ditched them albeit they are very attractive options. Do we have an option to change?

A wider question on how does outsourcing impact on revenue and could we not increase it by a different model?

Is there any long term plans re training facilities? As Euxton is having a large number houses built next to it maybe the builders would like to expand. Could the club sell this site and Springfields and use the revenue to resurrect the Ingol plan?

It would be nice to have a succession plan in place for Ridsdale but I guess it's not a question he would be open to answering 🤣

Definitely got to ask why, in February, there is still a lack of winter items like hats and scarves, also, i'd raise the question about why only £10 is going to charity for the Finney shirts, i think its been a PR disaster this one, should have been cheaper with a larger percentage going to charity

Any updates on the sale of the club, we've been told for many years that the club is for sale for the right price, but is it being offered to potential buyers or are we waiting for them to come to us?

Since ownership transferred from Trevor to the current owners I'd have imagined that there must be an endgame, the plan surely isn't to remain as owners indefinitely?

Nice one MB, the bigger picture is what matters. Whether we sell hats and scarves in the club shop pales into insignificance relative to the future of our club.

If there aren't any immediate plans to upgrade the Academy to Cat 3 or above, are there any discussions taking place to reinstate a u21 team? We have a number of good young pro's coming through who will be too old for the "youth teams" shortly and our record for getting our players out on a decent standard of loan is woeful.

What is the plan to sell season tickets for next season when the majority of fans dislike both the manager and the style of football that is being played?

Club shop. Constant complaints from ALL age groups on All social media platforms. It’s not just a few fans, it’s the majority of fans. These issues have been going on since the appointment of these useless lot. The latest ‘limited edition’ STF shirt has left hundreds of people disappointed, once again.

Whilst I know that you’re fully aware of what is going on and have brought it up at most meetings, absolutely nothing has changed. Time to ramp up the pressure on Ridsdale!

The stock level generally in the shop is awful.

I agree with this but it is still embarrassing when a championship club haven’t got much-craved after merchandise such as hats, scarves, coats, polo shirts, mugs, badges etc etc…

Topics to be discussed :

Sale of the club
Budget for summer recruitment
Club shop / poor merchandise offerings
Floodlight improvements / replacements
ST pricing strategy for 2024/2025
Standing area on the Town End
Alan Browne contract status and Liam Millar signing made permanent ?

Yep, it says a lot about the club to other fans.

Or a wine department, Deepdale Red with the club badge as label.
