Hello Everyone

Following a further forum upgrade on Thursday I have been busy working on other forum enhancements.

We now have a far superior media link facility which will allow the embedding of videos/news stories and the like to the forum.

There was an issue with linking to images which I have been working on the coding of the site to fix (until the developers patch it) which I believe has been resolved but I am currently testing stability to be sure.

I have added extra ways for members who wish to support the site to do so without using paypal and I have installed a reminder system which will give users a notice prior to their patronship expiring so they can renew if they choose to do so.

There are other things I am working on which you may or may not notice as time goes by which will hopefully improve your user experience with PNE-Online.

One of these is making a distinction between stickies and normal threads - I hope you like. Although this is very much a case of playing about a bit and seeing what works and doesn't/.

Thank you again for your support and helping us move forward - we are being approached on a regular basis to partner in with companies or advertising agencies and I could not turn these down if it wasn't for your on-going support.

JK, this site has moved forward massively in the relatively recent period that I’ve been posting. That doesn’t happen by accident, it takes a lot of hard work and commitment which is greatly appreciated. Thank you to all involved!!

Stickies are usually important threads that require as many people as possible to see them, and will be 'pinned' to the forum, meaning they won't drop down the board and eventually out of sight.

Normal threads are the opposite. Threads that will eventually drop down the pages and out of sight, when they become less popular and people stop posting in them.
 
Yes website is great. One thing I would change though is the time of a post being described as eg '37 mins ago' rather than the actual time. I then have to calculate the actual time so I know how far we are into the game.
 
Just added a little ribbon to the avatars to indicate who the Original Poster (OP) was on threads, so when you get a thread with 400 pages you can have a reminder of who started the whole thing off.

As you will see on my avatar to the left.
