Very interesting as a few weeks ago, a local Boxing Promotor was on Social Media, with a picture of Deepdale, saying that big things, including Boxing at the stadium, would be announced / in the pipeline very soon.

I'll try and find the Picture / Post.

All I can find is White Collar Boxing at Deepdale on Sept 6th.

Maybe that was it although the picture and wording, off memory, implied an outdoor event.

A couple of years ago the club said that lack of emergency access precluded major events taking place. It was pointed out that on match days an ambulance is parked between IP and Kop so access would be available

I’ve been in once and they had some oldish guy singing live.

It was ridiculously loud and fucking annoying.

Literally couldn’t talk to each other as you couldn’t hear what people were saying.

Went in for the first time on Saturday, Very echoey with the band on.
Service was terrible and we didn't move for 5 mins, so walked out and had a beer on the concourse. So if there was an option outside, that would be very welcome.

It's not actually that small, just laid out in a very awkward way. Don't know who's idea it was to put the bar next to the doors so the queues block people from getting in.
