In memory of my Dad, Peter Kilgariff, who passed away on 23rd March 2026.
Dad was a Preston North End supporter from the 1950s — a time when Deepdale was the centre of the footballing world. He held a season ticket for many years, and even as dementia gradually took so much from him in his final seasons, he still went. Still turned up. Still a Lilywhite to the last.
Gentry Day feels like exactly the right moment to remember him. A man who gave decades of loyalty to this club, long before loyalty was fashionable.
Rest in peace, Dad. Always with us. 💙🤍
Sincere condolences to your family. I always enjoyed meeting Peter he had a great sense of humour and we shared a love of PNE and music.
