PNE Flags Gentry Tifo — a tribute unique to The Gentry

As we mark 145 years since Preston North End’s formation today the 10th May, we’re proud to launch our latest fan-led campaign through PNE Flags.

We’re creating a huge new tribute flag to honour the PNE fans we’ve sadly lost. This permanent display will fly proudly at Deepdale — replacing earlier Gentry banners and smaller tribute flags — and complementing the current wavers in our growing collection.


🖊️ You can add a name to be included on the flag — whether they’ve featured on past designs or are a new tribute.

💷 The suggested donation is £10, but no one will be left out — you can contribute any amount and still have a name included.

🙏 If you’d prefer to simply support the project without adding a name, you’re also very welcome to make a donation with no tribute attached.

📏 The more we raise, the bigger the flag — our goal is something between the size of the Sky Line and Sir Tom Finney banners.

This is another step in fans doing what we can to back the manager and the team. We hope the club shows the same spirit.

This summer’s PNE FLAGS project is our most ambitious yet — a giant Gentry Tifo to be unveiled at Deepdale for the 25/26 season.

We’re inviting supporters to add a name to the flag — whether you’ve previously honoured someone or would like to include a new name, this is your chance to make them part of something special. All names will be printed subtly into the design.

While the suggested donation is £10, we don’t want anyone to miss out — so you can donate as much or as little as you like. Every penny goes towards creating a lasting tribute and something we can all be proud of.

Hope I've done them right, I see the money has left my bank but can't see an email receipt thing yet. Seems a trite comment given what we're donating for and how much we miss these guys.

I am looking at a few options in terms of getting the best design possible of which I hope to have more news soon.
