Glad you kept this forum going JK

It's not great for people with OCD, there are so many more 'forums' that have to be marked as 'read' now. Annoying.

I also joined in 2004, seems like two minutes ago. This forum has been a part of my life since the offset. I don’t know what else to add after events of the last 18 months, but in the whole I love the place, I love most of the people. I deleted the rest of my post as I am not allowed to discuss the threat I am under.

I'll take over then seeing as you want to keep your issues with LiS going.

You aren't under any threat, you've been asked to follow rules regarding discussing bans on the forum, the same rules every other poster has been asked to follow.

Take over all you want, or JD or whoever. I don’t agree with either of the last two bans, but I have no right to reply and you’re all insistent you were right in doing so. Your totting up process now puts me at the risk of a permanent ban so that’s where we are at. Nothing to do with me wanting to ‘keep up my issues with LIS’ at all. I wish it wasn’t there in the first place. He had a go at me, not the other way round.

I have replied to this about five times, even went to pm you. Whatever I try and say I am quite sure it would do nothing other than go against me.

All I ask is that LIS puts me on ignore. That’s it, nothing else.

I wasn't trying to provoke you, I was simply trying to tell you as it is.

I know you blame me for your ban but I didn’t ban you, although it was a unanimous decision.

You’ve given your opinion on this countless times, I haven’t yet.

The way I see it, you insulted me so I told you to fuck off, that was it as far as I was concerned. It’s the sort of encounter that happens on here all the time and it’s usually water of a ducks back to you. Yes, I repeated the fuck off but only because you told me I didn’t mean it because I was pissed. But, like a dog with a bone you wouldn’t let go. I tried to de-escalate the situation but you just threw it back in my face. I was posting as me, not as mod, we are allowed to do that you know.

You think I owe you an apology and I think you owe me one. Nothing’s ever going to change there, so how about we put a red line under this, shake hands and move on?

All the posts are there pal, not deleted. Yeh i do blame you as it was your fault.

Put me on ignore because if you think me calling you a moron warrants the responses you gave then you’re deluded.

Same here. I first posted on the LEP site...practically my first online post ever, never mind PNE related....and the following evening found a very long, astonishingly insulting, reply. I could not understand why anyone would do that to a total stranger.

Yup...turned out it was the infamous Voldemort!
Years later I was one of the Mods who finally voted to ban him permanently.

Also at that time I was, at one stage, the only mod who voted against a permanent ban for a certain poster called Nobber! 🤣

Later still, this forum seemed to have lost the interest of it`s owners, and JK, and ever present, battled on seemingly alone for a while.
Every credit to him. The forum is better than ever, and still ad-free.

Sigh...and we still haven`t made it to the Prem! 🙁


Plus les choses changent, plus elles restent les mêmes.
