Greg Cunningham

Surprised to hear Greg only got a 6 month deal, thought it would have been a year.

Surely it’s going to get extended until the end of the season one way or the other? We’d be losing a body in defence and, unless we’ve got our eyes on someone for Jan, either on loan or permanently, would make zero sense letting him go. And if we do have someone in mind to replace him in Jan, why not just pursue them now? I don’t really understand why he was only given 6 months, other than it being some kind of spur to maintain his fitness.
