Thanks for that, not, now I will have to go back to the thread I get called names in, what fun it is having an opinion.

Sorry for being dense, but I can't work out how to upload an image into a post. I tried from Google images but just got a couple of red X es and can't do them from my pc image library either.
Please advise the dense so we can join in.

When you do a google image search...

select the image you want....

then (crucially) click on the 'full-size image' link on the right of the screen.

Now you can highlight the URL, copy it, and paste it into your posts. [note that this works 9 times out of 10 - there are a few images that don't have a unique URL - I think you just have to live with that... or use some screen capture tool, then upload to photobucket, or wherever]

If you want to create your own images like my Willie Naughton one, you need to upload to the internet first. I have a (free) photobucket account... I upload there, which then gives you a web address to use for uploading into posts.

Is that clear? If not... ask again.
Cheers

Pardon?
Thanks anyway - I'll give it a go ...

Sorry... not so coherent at this time of night.

Try following the steps though for google images... that should work... and covers almost everything you want to do anyway.

Ignore the garbled instructions about photobucket stuff for now.

Anyway... go on, post us a picture. Something appropriate.

Thanks for that Regardless. You'll regret it though, as this one's for complete anoraks. I'll give some more clues in the morrow for anyone that cares.
Cos I think that's still way too hard as I never saw him play for us, I'll mention that that was because I was away at Uni at the time.

It lashed it down that night, but the new pitch some how soaked it all up,I think Brown saved a pen and because he had played for Charlton they were up for us that night.
The police put them in the corner paddock of the old West Stand near the Kop.

not sure about the pen but John Vaughn was in the nets
