Great opportunity blown to get to Wembley tonight 😡

We'll have to make sure we get there in the league now.
 
Couple of wins puts you back in the playoffs. Keep the faith and you could be playing us Lashers again next season 🙂

I'm as pissed off as anyone tonight. I was really hoping for a trip to Wembley to lift spirits at the club, but how can Brown be blamed for an inability to score from 12 yards?

Alexander is supposed to be a penalty specialist FFS.

He's the manager - I think you'll find that makes him accountable irrespective of the result tonight.

It's not just about tonight though - his selections, tactics and results have all been crap for months now. The buck stops with Brown and the sooner he goes - the better

I was a great driver until I started argueing with the missus. Bad karma.
 
Wehave rode our luck to many times in this competition and having to rely on penalties. Tonight we came unstuck but we should be beating these teams before pens.

I think he may have to take responsibility for failing to even test the worst team in the division (oh, sorry Chesterfield, 3rd worst after us and Hartlepool) and and not bringing on Daley when we had barely created a chance all night.

I'm fucking fuming. Out of the dregs of this season we could at least have had a fun day out but now what? The ultimate humiliation will be Saturday when Stevenage fucking Borough turn us over. I've already got my ticket but am seriously considering whether I should write it off and save the £40 petrol.

I am seething as well, but I dont think you can just blame the manager. A trip to Wembley could have turned our season and we've blown it.

I do think Chesterfield are in a false position to be fair.

By your reckoning surely it must be the Hull players who got them promoted or do we only blame the players when it goes wrong? A new chairman, a new year....... please let it come in three's ffs.
