In 2003 the Burnley net got Fuller and Fuller and Fuller.

Ellis hat trick at Gloomfield in 1992.

The Ellis one was my favourite I think. I still don’t think he was entirely sure were he was when he got the third!

Bruce got all 4 against Colchester in 1978 and (I think ) another hat trick the season before against Peterborough.

One that has been forgotten to time was Nicky Wroe's against Scunthorpe

What a memory! It was Bruce 4-0 Colchester under the Tuesday night lights.

I don’t remember the Peterborough game… I am pretty sure I didn’t go to that one.

Good call. I was at that one too. I don't drink loads of alcohol but evidently its still too much!

That game was bizarre. Cruising 3 up at half time turned into desperate panic mode.
 
Does anyone have any stats to suggest that the number of PNE hattricks is higher, lower, or about the same as other typical clubs. To me, it doesn’t feel like we’ve seen many.. but maybe it’s a normal amount.
