I’m sure I’ll contradict this in an over reactionary way after a loss at some point
But this is one of my favourite Preston teams in years. The absolute passion and fight that he’s put into the players, they never ever give up trying to get something from a game - whilst having some high quality moments too

Agree, he really instilled fighting qualities and team spirit. Also, we have been in every single game this season.I’m sure I’ll contradict this in an over reactionary way after a loss at some point

We simply have to back this man. We’ve always failed at the January point. The league this year, this crop of players, this management team.

So glad we've got Hecky and McCall, proper blokes, proper managers. We'll lose games but it won't be anything to do with how these 2 have prepared us. I absolutely hated Lowe with a passion and Frankie was a wet weekend. We bash Ridsdale when things are shite and rightly so but maybe credit to this managerial appointment and last summer's recruitment drive 🤔
To be where we are at this stage of the season after the injuries we've suffered is frankly outstanding.

Ridsdale actually seems to have done a fair job so far this season, but the credit for how things have turned around on the pitch really rests with Heckingbottom and McCall. They masterminded the recruitment and have turned us into a very decent outfit with virtually no budget.
For me, the team is now showing a resilience not seen since Larry Grayson was manager. In addition, they’re also creating so many more scoring opportunities providing excitement for the fans. Fantastic gutsy performance tonight. Looking forward to more of the same at Oxford on Saturday.

With the support of Ridsdale? He's played his part surely. For that I give him some credit. 😎Ridsdale actually seems to have done a fair job so far this season, but the credit for how things have turned around on the pitch really rests with Heckingbottom and McCall. I wonder if Hecky in some ways feels even more invested in this squad as he's assembled so much with so little. Virtually no budget but put together a squad so resilient that you'd back them against anybody in the division.
Ridsdale wanted Ryan Lowe to remain as manager rather than appoint Hecky. The debits far outweigh the credits. With the support of Ridsdale? He's played his part surely. For that I give him some credit. 😎

So by your reckoning Ridsdale takes no credit for this season. 👍🏻 Interesting.

I hated last seasons team, I hated Ryan lowe, I consider that to be Ridsdale's doing so he fully deserved all the shite he got. I wanted Ridsdale gone after last season and the seasons that followed after Alex Neil.As I said, the debits far outweigh the credits.
However.
He appointed Hecky, has overseen a very positive summer transfer window and thus far a positive season. He's helped build an exciting team to be proud of. Of course I'll accept the input of Hecky and McCall regarding recruitment. The shit he got for doing a bad job was more than fair, so I believe it's also only fair to praise when it is due.
