Having certain threads permanently 'marked read'

Not sure if this is already an option, but is it possible to be able to select to mark certain threads permanently as 'read' so you don't have to keep manually doing it when new posts have been made?

I'm going to say no on first glance and a quick search of xenforo. Would using the "Mark Forums read" once you've done the threads you care about work? Or switching to use the "Watched Threads" options and add new threads in as and when?

Neither does what you actually want I know so frustrating

Thanks for checking, like I say I didn't know if it already existed and I just couldn't see it. Not sure I could switch to Watched Threads, but I guess the closest is to Mark Forums Read once I've viewed the ones I want, thanks. There's just a number of threads that I'd really never read (all Prediction ones for one example) and I only go onto them to close them down. Just a bit of OCD, ha.
 
Asked the same question months ago. Seems a lot of people (me included) have got forum OCD.

Only option is to set your alarm for 4am and do some housekeeping when all the nutters have stopped posting and are in bed.
