Hurry up PNE. It's inevitable, just announce it.

Ruining all my interest in football full stop is this. Previously I enjoy watching other games and MOTD etc. so far I can't even be bothered to update my FPL team (ironically this has helped my points total).

Could say it's apathy with modern football but no, I can feel it, it's North End. How bad we are. I'm embarrassed by us. I don't want to watch any football because I'll see how badly we are in comparison. I'll see fans celebrating goals. I'll see players putting in 100%, creating chances, showing skill. Even at L1, L2 level. It just reminds me of how unfathomably bad we are, going back to January too.

Don't get me started on all the fluff with season tickets etc in May. I didn't fall for that.

I still hold out the hope for the takeover. But we need to clear the deck entirely. I don't want a single person remaining from the current era.

I'm the opposite, actually started just watching a lot more prem/other stuff. It's shocking what a fucking chore it is to watch us.

Lincoln was one of the worst games you will ever see across the leagues.

And Euell is a first team coach. I'm not sure why one is a more obvious pick than the other. Can't imagine Euell has an undying loyalty to Heckingbottom.
I’d imagine if Euell doesn’t get sacked it’ll be both of them taking charge together

I’ve been reading a lot of comments about how poor the team and the recruitment have been.

Looking at the most recent transfer window, I actually think most of our signings have been decent. However, we’ve neglected the spine of the team, which arguably looks weaker than it did before.

Kenny looks okay, but it was criminal to sign only one permanent striker. We’re also lacking a strong defensive midfielder, while the less said about a central defence featuring Lindsay and Storey, the better. Iverson appears to have completely lost his confidence (either in himself or his defence), either way he’s not playing well.

The loan signings don’t appear to be of the same calibre as in previous seasons either. That said, I don’t think it’s fair to criticise players like Erabi and Burgzorg too heavily yet. The whole team has been performing poorly, making it difficult to judge either of them fairly.

I’ll reserve judgement on the players until a new manager comes in and has the chance to sort out the shambles we’re currently in.

I suspect that respect is the operative word.

Sacking CAN be done quickly and then let everything else play out once it is public. However, is that the way that things should be done?

I am perfectly OK with the timeline being what it would have been when the Monday LEP was the way people found out. No reason to rush just because social media makes rushing "expected".

Five minutes after the match might satisfy some fans, but it does not even give the poor manager chance to speak with their family.
Perfectly put
No reason to doubt sedge but ffs we need more on this asap for our own sanity
why
It’s the day after the match
The eagerness for information in every corner of life is just overwhelming
We will find out - for sure - but it won’t be instant
