I guess like everyone else today, I just logged in in the hope, but not the expectation, that I would be greeted by a "confirmed" sticker. Same as most days over the last 3 months.

On topic, Mills off, circa 75th minute, PH holding for a draw. At home. Against Lincoln. In a “must win game!”

In all the fucking fuckety fuck what the fuck?!

As expected, Lincoln score circa 80th minute.

Never in my long memory, including some bloody awful appointments, has the sack ever been more deserved.

Please God with new ownership in addition to multiple other progressive changes, I hope consideration (& discussion 🤫) has already been addressed in terms of a new gaffer.

Get the decision already made, according to respected authority on here, be published & we can at least try to move on.

The mills sub was beyond me - possibly because he was cream crackered ?

Having 3 cbs on when they had one upfront and removing an attacking player was bizarre. Why not try and get another attacking player on rather than Hughes?

PH is in a position he’s lost a lot of the fans and will be potted. It’s a results business but rhetoric like that doesn’t help. I even saw someone say it was a sackable offence making McCann captain.

He will get potted no doubt. Will anything improve with this squad? I honestly can’t see it. Years of underinvestment and now getting loans from our competitors is finally catching up with us.

i think you were. Especially as you suggested I wasn’t being truthful.
The fact is Mills was subbed off and Highes was brought on.
I used the term “swapped” which you decided to pick up on and further suggested I wasn’t being truthful.
I think that the vast majority of people reading my initial post would know exactly what I meant, which certainly wasn’t that Hughes was a like for like replacement.

I think if it’s expected that the takeover isn’t going to complete soon then something would have to be to protect our championship status. So I think it will be a useful indicator of likely timing if some action is taken that looks like the current owners choice rather than a clean sweep with a longer term brief

It wasn’t the substitution, it was the replacement and implication we were then holding out for a draw.

My heart sank as to what PH did, & was doing, to our club.

Having experienced re-election among other low points over the years, I can’t recall a more self imposed proof of a manager being out of his depth.
 
Normally when fans turn against a manager it’s normally the end, this clearly happened yesterday. I am not sure though in regards to what’s going on behind the scenes, with the take over etc, are they going to push this decision down the road?
