Im not for sacking Hecky as i feel it wont make a difference whilst these owners are in. However!!!!!!! Wtf ? Is this real ??
The first two 100%.
Phil brown and westley are a bit skewed as they managed us for quite a bit in league one.

I get all the complaining and comparing I really do and most of the games this season have been horrific but, what do people think will happen if PH and his staff get sacked. Their pay off will come out of the budget, and what ambitious manager would come to Preston when the club has proved over and over again they don't want to spend anything and ambition is something they have absolutely no interest in. Oh and any new Manager best be cheap because any players they get will be. If we need to get a grip of being allegedly punching above our weight we need to get a grip of why, it’s because we are run very poorly.
In the case of Westley, he had Non League players playing about 3 or 4 levels above their limit. The first two 100%.

Aaron Brown.
Anthony Elding.
Chris Beardsley.
Jack King.
Etc.

He didn't have to sign them.
Last season was really odd. The form up to March was probably lower end mid table and then everything just collapsed after the Villa cup defeat. Seems the whole club just gave up on the season thinking they were safe and they were all very nearly proved wrong.
Probably enough points on the board this time but it has been very very poor since Bristol City away and that win was two months ago.
In the two Lowe seasons the slumps would begin in April so not a good look at all they're happening earlier in seasons.

I think it’s time to offer the olive branch to Our Ryan.Who can we bring in as an interim?
Don't disagree with you, just wondering what options we have.
Bring him home.
With a current league win rate of 31% for me he is out of time. These are his players, his formation yet the same old turgid shite week after week.
Ryan lowe had a better win rate than this guy which shows how low we have sunk.
However we all know the root of the problem. It's backstage. It's PR, KR and the rest of the hemmings clan expecting a championship club to be run on a league 2 budget. Speaks volumes our record club signing in 2026 is about £2 mil. Until these folks actually sell the club NOTHING will change.
Manager might but the next guy will come in and have the e same shit sandwich to eat. People wonder why fans are turning their backs on pne and deepdale. It's just fucking depressing watching this shite

Noooooooo. He proved his effectiveness at Wigan and took the pee out of us before he left.I think it’s time to offer the olive branch to Our Ryan.
Bring him home.
Ryan Lowe was still shite. I agree with the rest of your post though. With a current league win rate of 31% for me he is out of time. These are his players, his formation yet the same old turgid shite week after week.

Last season he nearly took us down, despite never actually being in a relegation battle under Lowey. The blame for this however was all aimed at Lowey, and the ‘mess’ he supposedly left us in.Most other clubs strengthened in January we weakened and lost Iversen too it’s not complicated.
This season, as we now hurtle down the table in the same terrible relegation form it’s on the owners for not strengthening in January? Serious question.. when does the this manager take the blame?
I’d honestly rather have Lowe back in charge, the football is just the same (shite) however at least he knew how to get them up for a local derby.
Oh absolutely. Not saying RL was a good manager or anything. More pointing out he actually had a better win rate overall than PH is managing which is a serious serious problem.Ryan Lowe was still shite. I agree with the rest of your post though.
Considering the shit RL got I would say PH has had a very very easy and forgiving time so far at PNE.
Sack him.
Clueless
The worst win ratio since we got promoted a decade ago. Frankie McAvoy had better numbers.
Not quiet there yet, as I keep Saying Get rid of Peter and see if things change. I mean why the Fuck is Peter around the Squard all the time, why is he on the Training Field. Peter your a Director not part of the team, seriously fuck off. Do some litter picking or something. Let Hecky and Co train and prepare without your Big Fat ego getting in the way.
He nearly took us down with a Ryan Lowe team, no pre season and players leaving and more concerned about injuries than winning. This season we weakened ourselves in January from a position of 3 points off 2nd and lost our goalkeeper to long term injury. If you think Ryan Lowe was better you have a very short memory it was bloody awful as the abuse he got showed.Last season he nearly took us down, despite never actually being in a relegation battle under Lowey. The only thing I will say is that if we had an average championship budget he wouldn’t have picked Michael Smith for instance. With a current league win rate of 31% for me he is out of time. These are his players, his formation yet the same old turgid shite week after week.

No excuse for the apparent lack of effort and determination.
Best wishes to your dad.

I'm certainly in the thinking stage. Yesterday did feel like one of those 'End Phase' type of matches.
The bit I'm struggling to get my head around is that he's made something like 16 signings and yet he's struggling to get anything out of them anymore. He gave contract extensions to Storey and Hughes too, so we definitely can't say this isn't his squad. We aren't in an injury crisis either. Yesterday felt like he'd lost the dressing room and there's only one way this ends up.
The one thing you could say for Heckingbottom over Lowe was that under Lowe we used to lose really badly (3+ goals) and under Heckingbottom it's been 1-0 losses. We're now back to regular thrashings (Middlesbrough away, last night, Hull at home).
For all people talk about us not being exciting, my main concern right now is we aren't tough to beat anymore. We're even seeing patterns in how we concede (is it three goals from throw ins in the last five games?)
I genuinely try to be solution orientated in my criticisms too and right now I can't think of a solution.
- Is there much point getting rid of a manager now when there's likely to be more options in the summer?
- How likely are the owners actually going to pay off Heckingbottom and McCall if they're actively trying to sell the club anyway?
- In the summer is there much point doing a clear out? These owners wouldn't finance a proper one.
- What's the best team we could play right now?
We're very much in end of season purgatory right now and it's hard to see what changes.

He didn’t identify a player because Armstrong was a very cheap loan apparently so he had to wait and see because cheap at PNEFC is the overriding factor every damned time.I know Armstrong only started 13 games but surely PH could have identified an affordable decent replacement well before on the off chance and during the transfer window. Instead he has brought in 2 players in other positions who he does not play! Crazy!

The abuse was because he was a flash scouser which our fans never really warmed to.He nearly took us down with a Ryan Lowe team, no pre season and players leaving and more concerned about injuries than winning. Hecky is statistically the worst manager we’ve had in a decade now, and the football is just as poor.
I’ll ask again as you seemed to miss this question first time.. ‘when does this manager take the blame for what we are watching right now’

Our problem is the owners apathy nothing changes until we have new owners if they cared about the club he already would be sacked. Absolutely no point in leaving him in charge for rest of the season he has to go ...when it's over it's over and it's over ...we have to stop the rot asap
Man U have a multi-million £ squad that couldn't/wouldn't play for Amorim - Spurs seems to be having a similar problem. The clue's in the title - "manager" - that's what they're paid for, and at the moment the squad aren't being managed, motivated, set up etc.
