Heckingbottom

Even if he doesn't go and we somehow scab the points we need, what mood will we have as fans in the summer? Does anyone think he will get us prepared for next season or just go with the awful wingbacks again?

And if we get taken over clearly he will be done.

So everything being equal, he has to go tonight.

I think he goes in the summer one way or another.

I've finally seen enough. Thought I'd give him another 2 games after Oxford but enough is enough. Time to go PH and the rest of the backroom staff.

RIDSDALE OUT!

Time for Hecky to go. Probably should have happened a couple of games ago but that is virtually always the case with football managers.

I have absolutely no idea who we get in next, but IMO he doesn't have the backing of the players. Get a fresh face in now, hopefully pick up a result against Stoke at home on Friday and then we can focus on next season and trying to avoid the drop again.

But conversely, how can he all of a sudden become a bad manager after Bristol City (A) ?

I think he's a bit hacked off with the January window despite Lang and Moran arriving late. He probably would've held on to all of Keane, Thor and Mads for the whole month until deadline day if he knew they weren't going to be replaced until last minute.

Armstrong going back and not being replaced by any CM was a massive blow.

I'd love to know what managers are actually told regarding transfer windows when they interview for this job. Is it all lies or are they just that desperate for a championship job they don't even care to ask the question.

Anyway the problem is despite all that the performances are so bad now he isn't going to get much longer. This follows on from the horrible collapse last season that could've easily relegated this club after a decade in the championship so I'm afraid PH isn't getting a pass for this even from me.

He's still got lots of forwards to work with so to not score in over half of the league games since Bristol is inexplicable to me. Can't blame the pitch for away games and got enough pace and quality in final third to get some decent counters going.
