Heckingbottom

Get Ted Lasso in!!!!

"Back where I'm from, you try to end a game in a tie, that might as well be the first sign of the apocalypse"

Might fix the "too many draws" problem.

Although we actually seem to have done a fine job of that anyway, just not in the way anybody wanted.

Id kill for a couple of draws now tbh.

Not semantics, it's completely different. He's not on a permanent contract. Today, it has 12 months to run, tomorrow it has 12 months to run. But, if we give notice, he's out of contract a year later. They're not the same thing.
Doesn't really matter anyway because he's going nowhere for now. It'll be classic North End - we'll just about stay up, let him sign his own players in the summer, and then sack him in October when we're in the bottom three.
Exactly my point. 🤔

A few people have mentioned his name but Will Still would be a good appointment if Hecky goes.

His stock is pretty low at the moment since it didn't really work out for him at Southampton, but in fairness to him they were playing good attacking football however they were just struggling to put the ball in the net.

If he knew the financial set-up he'd run a mile.

Plays a back 3 doesn't he?

Don't think I could stand any more of that shite.

All of that could equally have been said about Ryan Lowe yet nobody thought he was a good manager. And Heckingbottom is currently performing worse than Lowe was
Yes he is but Lowe walked that's the difference, you don't just turn up and become SHIT it's the true show of his character how he conducts himself from now.Imagine walking into promises and you get this shite!!Granted he probably new there was sell to buy but if you get no support how would it affect most people WE all (Well most )Get paid to work and work!He is paid to manage the team and that he should do but the MORONS Who pay him are the crux of the issue .His choices are insane at times and I do think he's a bit old fashioned but he's got the record .I don't want another manager I want him to succeed above all and I think the next game is key not the last the next
If we lose then he should walk

PR has already said that there will be no change of manager. We could be heading to League 1. Its a great time to p;lay us if you need 3 points. Stoke, Leicester and west Brom will be licking their lips in anticipation bet they can't wait for the match to come
Gut feeling is that we'll pick up a couple of points somewhere, but that's not really good enough is it?

Problem is, it IS good enough for PR and the fucking Isle of Man Borgias.

If there really is a change of ownership in the offing then it makes no sense to change the manager right now

I don’t see a caretaker making much difference

As Danny said we will pick up the points needed

Just seen one of the Hemmings' black Range Rovers driving down London Road leaving Preston.

Maybe they've just left an emergency board meeting @ Deepdale....then again, maybe not.

Been backed like never before!

Yeah reet 😒

I think he has to go but you’re talking absolute bollocks
Last winter he bought Gibson, I think our most expensive defender ever, then last summer had licence for a complete overhaul, this winter he’s broke our transfer record and brought in Moran.
I reckon that’s 5 x 1 million plus signings in 18 months, plus freedom to bring in multiple young Prem players on substantial wages.
So yes, backed like never before.
Who else had more freedom to overhaul the squad and spend like this? Moyes, Brown, Irvine, Ferguson, Neil, Grayson, Westley, Davies? You tell me.
