Exactly. I think we don't appreciate this as fans. I take nothing away from Frank he's been amazing but it's the structure of the club that matters.

We have Peter Murphy. We have some of the biggest players in the division. Potts and Lindsay alongside on the best headers of the ball in Hughes and he can't get us scoring a goal off a corner.

I watched a couple of interviews and his accent seems to change depending on who he’s talking to. Very American if he’s talking to an American, but much more Arabic sounding when he’s in the Middle East.

But like Stuart McCall, really.

I don’t know what relevance that has. He quite literally grew up in Saudi with Saudi parents.

If we’re judging people by their accents when speaking English we’d be saying Kasper Schmeichel isn’t Danish or Alexander Isak isn’t Swedish.

They all grew up watching Friends and now have weird accents. IMO.

He was only there a few weeks though, I don’t think he knew what he wanted to do.

I’d like to see North End play a back 4, I just don’t think we’re good enough to challenge right at the top without having better players.
 
I’m just reiterating what’s been said/reported.

He was seen here the other week, supposedly scouting players - Devine and iversen. but he isn’t coming here. It’s reported Celtic want to give him a job upstairs next season. Therefore why he was deepdale at deepdale.

With our current owners and such a low budget he would have done no better than any of our managers since we won the play-off final.

Suspect he may have done worse, imagine him trying to instill his passing out from the back with Lindsay and Storey in a back 3 and McCann in centre midfield. Would have disaster written all over it.
