Finishing 14th with this squad is exactly what a competent manager would do.

We certainly don't have the 14th best squad or budget in the league.

He was the safe, boring option, for a safe, boring club, and most of this board were gagging for it.

I'm open to a revolution and a fresh start, but it's ridiculous to act like this season was a massive underperformance, because it wasn't close to being one.

We got lucky with worldies early in the season, and it made us look better than we are. And then we reverted to type, and the Iversen injury swung the pendulum the other way.

Must say, I’m really surprised this is a takeaway from today’s game, in which we had 16 shots and a generally decent performance against the (currently) best side in the league.

Milly was absolutely terrible when he came on, and needs selling in summer. Jebbison, whilst never a goal threat (he needs to improve that), was much more of an issue for their back line.

He is very much the problem, shows it every game with his shit negative tactics and nonsensical subs like Devine off for Thompson when it's the last game of the season and there's no excuse not to go for it.
 
Not much too add but we have an opportunity for a full, clean slate.

Hecky, IMO, has shown he is a very limited manager. Dealt a shit hand a lot of times admittedly, but too stubborn who sticks to the same formation and tactics and seems unwilling to shake things up.

With the takeover, I think it's best for all concerned if he moved on.

We certainly draw a lot more games than we did under lowe but we certainly don't win anymore

Hopefully we get that reinvestment this summer. But I also hope with that new investment the new owners pick a different manager with a different direction.
 
Again bizarre substitution...I would think a person like Zedan has a business plan and probably taken plenty of advice I'd I'd fully expect one of those early decisions us to get PH out if here...taking devine off for Thompson...WTF? Devine would get an applause at end...didn't need one then

I’ve absolutely no idea how he’s highly rated and why people are desperate to keep him.

We can definitely replace his mighty 8 goals this season and we might actually get more games out of his replacement!
