Heckingbottom

I forgot about Armstrong.
Let’s hope Lang can have a good preseason, because there’s a decent player there.

I always love our 'let's hope...' statements. They are always so fanciful.

Let's hope all the other games next season, apart from ours, are draws. We'd still finish 12th.

Must say, I’m really surprised this is a takeaway from today’s game, in which we had 16 shots and a generally decent performance against the (currently) best side in the league.

Milly was absolutely terrible when he came on, and needs selling in summer. Jebbison, whilst never a goal threat (he needs to improve that), was much more of an issue for their back line.
Doyler, I’ve been a supporter of Hecky for much of the season but his substitutes for Devine & Moran were unbelievable. What hope for Small when Brady is ahead of him. Sorry but he has to go.

When there was little to nothing to play for.... development of players is paramount. How Small isn't starting and playing to get him into a monster for next year is a big reason we probably need to say thanks Paul and all the best.

I’d love to know what the justification for giving Potts 90 minutes was, when he was playing poorly and Small and Valentin were both on the bench.

As I’ve said, Devine has been battling illness and he blew up. We didn’t even get any worse when JT came on.

I wouldn’t have brought Brady on, but Moran was pretty average (again) and tiring. McCann not fit enough to warrant risking, so Brady it was. Context is important.

PH often talks in interviews about how "it isn't about money" and then later in the same interview, he'll contradict himself by saying "that we need further improvements in investment". Happened quite a lot recently.

Which is it Paul, you Word Salad spewing dullard.

Thompson was turd.

Still think it was the wrong option to bring Thompson on since we were chasing the game.

Not a great option but an arguably better alternative would've been bringing Small on and shifting Potts more central.

He wants to be able to bring more quality to the squad, but results are not solely determined by spending - that has been his message throughout, really. He has said that there would be no point playing the games if success was purely based on spending. Doesn't mean he doesn't want further investment to boost his squad

Don’t even think we were particularly bad today, just as others have said, if he stays on it slightly dampens the hype of the takeover.

Exactly like it would if Ridsdale were to remain here as well.

PH would get a job at somewhere like Cardiff I reckon if they're in trouble midway point of next season.

No hard feeling as he's an honest guy who's probably lost motivation like AN did from the archaic ways the ownership/Riddler work but I agree new era, new head coach and hopefully new squad over next 18 months.
