Heckingbottom

When has any club, let alone ours, ever posted about a manager's win ratio?

As has been discussed before, it's a bit of a nonsense metric anyway because it entirely depends on the context of the clubs situation and the squad they have at their disposal.

Players and managers should be and are recognised for their milestone games. It's just normal fucking practice.
I am happy for you to celebrate his milestone!

If the new chap taking over wants Steven Gerrard in as manager then he'd better get a move on as Burnley are really sniffing at him and he could miss out on his intended target.

If we do get Gerrard I sincerely hope that the child spitter Carragher is not seen too many times at Deepdale, just how Sky can employ such a person is baffling.

I thought Burnley wanted Bellamy …

Has he turned them down ??

I'd give Hegginbum a few months to prove himself but I really believe he's trying to keep most of the squad happy and definitely seems to overthink thinks.......

Or the fact he knows some of the squad aren't quite good enough and he's trying to keep the ones that are fit.

Possibly but it's not quite working is it and to suggest " some of them aren't quite good enough " might be stretching it a bit if we ever want to win anything but that's been the case for 20 years...... Hopefully that might all change in the not too distant future eh pal? 🙂

If people want to look at win percentages take a look at the ranking of mangers in that list. Grayson - Neil - Lowe - Hecky. It’s also a timeline of when they managed us. Factor in 3 of Neil’s back 4 started vs Southampton at the weekend and if I’m not mistaken we haven’t made a profit on a player sale since 19/20 when we sold Robinson.

It’s almost as if the lack of investment and strategy from Risdale has finally caught up with us.

How could you just forget about Jack Whatmough like that?

Very funny. I was actually responding to you who said that we would have a lower half budget next season. You know this how? I repeat, no one knows what our budget will be next season.
How are we increasing our revenue to give us a top half budget within a month or two?

It has been mentioned on here many times that if the Hemmings wanted to there are ways and means to circumvent these rules?
We're talking about Zedan. How does he come in and dramatically increase our budget within a month?

I'm sorry I don't quite understand. Perhaps I have misread your message. When you said we will have a lower half budget next season. I thought you meant lower half of the league, is that not what you meant? So I naturally said, "no one knows what our budget will be next season" yes? Therefore, what has that got to do withincreasing our budget within a month?

He could introduce some sponsorship deals which cover that sort of thing, I don't know but my point still stands that no one knows.

I'm really sorry if I've got the wrong end of the stick. I promise I am not looking for an argument.

Cheers, here's to the takeover.

Yeah, I meant lower half of the league.

Even with the loopholes, I don't see how he injects enough cash into the club to significantly increase our budget for this summer window. I certainly don't think we'll suddenly have one the top 12 budgets in the league in the new owner's first season, regardless of a big sponsorship deal.

We'd still need to massively increase our revenue, like Wrexham have. That takes time.

Cheers mate. Have a good day and long live Zedan. Here's to a new dawn.

It's just a thought but he could increase the budget for the three years total if he had a couple of "you scratch my back, I'll scratch yours sponsor deals" lined up with some of his mates? ready to go.
