I am looking for help with a project I am doing on the history of the Preston North End home football programmes
I have pretty much got the post war seasons much boxed off. However the pre war home programmes are proving difficult. I am looking for scans for the covers, the number of pages, the size of the programmes, the colour of ink used and brief details of the inside such as did any have photographs in them, did they contain club notes, what information was on the visiting teams and advertisements content. Anything no matter how small will help me with my project.

Have you tried the National Football Museum? It's a bit of a touchy subject around this forum, as it was housed at Deepdale for a time. I am sure they had a pre war section on North End when it was here. They may have scanned some of the old programmes or be able to point you in the direction of someone that might be able to help.

Pre-war, you say?

I reckon @Ando60 will be able to help you out.
