How long is Mellor's contract?

How long is Mellor's contract?

I thought when Mellor came on against Coventry we started to play better. He found lots of space and had one decent effort saved by the Coventry keeper. We appeared to look a lot more dangerous and he seems to link up with Parkin a lot better than Elliot.
 
Overrated imo.

Dosen't really score when it matters, did have a good run in to last season but the team were pretty safe in mid table at that point. Plus his injuries.

Rather stick with the beast, have Chris Brown as a reserve and bring in someone else if Elliott dosen't come good next season.

Parkin got taken off at Burnley away and Brown was first choice after that. So 4 1/2 games Parkin and Mellor played from start.

Since then they started together against Liverpool and against Derby at home

Mellor's contract is too long and his wage too big. He may never play a full season but then again, like Davidson, if he wasn't a crock we would never have got him in the first place.

How many crocks can you carry when you have one of the smallest squads in the division? Hart, Davidson, Mellor, Henderson, Trottman, Chaplow all seem to be either injured or coming back from injury. If Youl is gonna do a Ledley King on us then we really are "down to the bare bones".

Surely Youl isnt doing a "ledley king", hes been an almost ever present for 2 seasons.

the new injury is a hamstring injury isnt it.

Since he was dropped he does look like he has lost interest. When he has come on recently he has looked slightly off the pace but links up far better with Parkin than Elliott.

Elliott has had far more bad games than Mellor IMO.
