How transfers are conducted

H

Hippopotamus

The internet is now the way EVERY transfer is conducted. I know this not from anybody on the Preston board but a man on the Southport board (Everybody might know this transfer process its just a recap for people if they do not.)

If both parties are at a computer and the player has completed his medical then a transfer can be completed in just 8 minutes (This may be slightly longer for Football League and Premier League clubs as more paperwork may be required, but it is 8 minutes for Conference North/South teams.)

This means that:

1) The Ashbee deal may have hit some sort of hitch (NOW SIGNED)

2) Maurice and the gang are working on something else at the moment and will complete the Ashbee deal later

3) When Maurice says he's "Shut shop" it may have just been to get rid of Cardiff, Ipswich and Bristol. If deals can happen in 8 minutes then nobody can be ruled out until 11pm

4) Maurice forgot to pay the Internet bill

Is this meant to be cryptic? Are we to expect a flutty of activity at 22:52 tonight?

No nothing cryptic and to be honest I don't know if any transfers will be conducted today, just giving people info about how transfers are conducted now.

" The internet is now the way EVERY transfer is conducted. "

" I know this not from anybody on the Preston board but a man on the SOUTHPORT board "

Right, yeh - they ain't EVEN in the Football League.

Everybody ? That's everybody In-the-World except ME, then.

Some people are Signed-Up EVEN on flippin' Golf Courses , Sir.

Does anyone honestly belive that a chairman saying they've shut up shop will stop a potential buyer from enquiring about a player.

I'll guarantee that Mo will have told Cardiff a price that we'll sell at. It's then up to them to decide if they want to waste their money. Hopefully they will come back with an improved offer.

If they come back with a better offer then what are we going to do about having a keeper for a week until the loan window opens?

This doesnt really tell us how transfers are conducted.

It tells us how quickly a non league transfer can be done.

Does the Tickled Trout have free wifi?! And what about the ice cream place?

Is this why business is slow?!

You questioned my facts, so I explained how transfers may be conducted on a gold course.

I wrote - if you care to scroll back on 2 separate occasions I've written, " G O L F course ".

No-one can know 100% all the ins & outs of every Football League Transfer -- especially with quoting your freind who's on the board of a Club that isn't even in the Football League.......no, not even 'League Two' !

I'm sorry but your Credibility Reading - is low.
