Absolutely gutted. Ilene was a wonderful and very funny lady who was kind to everyone. Rarely missed a game home or away right into her eighties. A huge loss to us as fans as well as her family. Sleep tight Ilene and god bless you, you will always be remembered. I was only asking Leanne on the coach about her yesterday too, she said she wasn’t well.

It goes without saying Ted that your grandma was a top top lady.
There are loads of people who thought the world of her on our estate.
It was my sad duty this morning to go round and see them and they all send their best wishes to all of the family.
 
RIP Ilene, very sad news indeed you will be greatly missed by many who travelled up and down the country with PNE on coach 1

Happy to say Mrs S and I met her on the coach to Birmingham away in 2019. A truly lovely lady.

What a fantastic lady shame there are not more Ilenes in this world . Hope she got her trip to wembley?

This is very sad news and I'm gutted to hear of Ilene's passing.

I used to travel to away games on the official coaches and was often on coach 1. Ilene was an absolute character - very, very funny and such a lovely lady. My Dad got to know her quite well and she always provided a great laugh.

Ilene really was one in a million and will be very sorely missed.

RIP Ilene.
