Very sad news. A name synonymous with this forum for the 2 decades I've frequented it. RIP

Oh no, I didn’t know he was unwell. He’s been like part of the furniture here for as long as I can remember and always thought he seemed like a good guy - he clearly was. A sad loss to the forum, sincere condolences to all his loved ones through this difficult time. Rest easy, mate.

I have a hundred great memories of this Gentleman and if he's true to form then he'll be up there penning a very lengthy and entertaining epitaph for himself.

Years ago he explained in a post why he had called himself Outreacher ( and what that had entailed for him as an occupation) and that has stuck with me ever since.

I also soon realised that he was a true Prestonian and knew more about us than I did and I've been here all my life.

Wish I'd met him personally but no matter how many times I asked him to return North, he wasn't having it. 🙂

Genuine fella who did break the mould and will be sadly missed on here ( and everywhere else ).
