Can I be so bold as to ask what "VernonsBoots" has done to get banned? 😱

I wonder why the other "interesting and whacky" posters don't have the same sanctions brought against their lies, misinformation and threats? 😕

Just asking like - I don't actually expect anything except the thread being cast into the dungeon of off topicness. 😉

Cue the "it's our forum" routine 😉

Not sure, I'm led to believe Vernon and Shaky were trading insults and both got banned for an accumulation of infraction points. Im sure if im incorrect on this, one of our helpful mods will correct me !

I beg to differ, what goes on here is that certain mods enjoy the conflict and watch it just like passers-by gawp at a car crash.

Then it all gets a bit bloody and they ban folks.

Proper moderation would move the threads into a discreet area and the looneys can then engage in a virtual mauling session.

The mods wait too long before intervening becuse they get sucked into the threads as spectators = utterly subjective moderation 😎

Shaky and Vernon are cyber fighters - nothing illegal about that - just move it to the "off-topic" section and let matters run their course.

As for the gamblers - introduce a no gambling policy - by allowing posts offering huge wagers, you may actually be breaking the law* 😉

I proposed a while ago an extra sub section for such "flame wars" called The Dungeon to be installed where anything goes (racism/homophobia aside) and where its infraction point free. Enter and post at your own risk. 🙂

Simple solution.

If introduced,both Shaky and VB would not be banned as they are in time.
