Starting Saturday against Plymouth it’s a packed 3 week schedule to the next international break. 2 games a week, 6 games in 21 days, will test our strength of squad.

After a boring 2 weeks without its footy footy footy..........

Plymouth H
Birmingham H
Rotherham A
WBA H
Leicester A
Ipswich A

Then another boring fortnight.

Can we keep the performance level and momentum up?

Some fascinating confrontations in the Championship starting on Friday night with Southampton v Leicester.
 
3 wins and a draw would give us 10 points and a running total of 23 from 11 games, which keeps us with the 2 points a game average to stay in a leading position.

But it’s a hell of a tough league this.

I’m hoping Keanes injury isn’t too serious, he’s been a valuable part of our excellent start, having said that this is the sort of thing we have to cope with.
 
An intense period is just an opportunity to wrap up more points more quickly in my view!

A real platform for the rest of the season is there to be grabbed if the lads can gee themselves up for this set of fixtures and come away with a few wins. We should be looking at good returns from the first four and then give ourselves the belief to take on Leicester and a buoyant Ipswich.
